| Using the DosBox x86 Emulator - 287 sec
A basic tutorial of how to open games using the Dosbox emu. I will make a new one soon that will explain how to play games that are on cd's. Anyway you can get abandonware dosbox games technically legally for free as abandonware, just search google and you'll find many of them.
The game I used as an example didn't have to be installed to play, but some might need to be. To install them, just open the exe or .bat in dosbox and it will walk you through the installation on screen. Then just open it up through dosbox after it's installed and it should play.

(Btw the me showing you how to use it off a CD is a maybe. I need to find one of my old games first that isn't compatible with xp :P Otherwise I'll have to figure something else out first.)

Installing Windows 3.1 without Virtual PC but with DOSBox.
Steps:
Download DOSBox and Windows 3.1

Ok, if u got the .RAR of Windows 3.1, u must make a new folder in your C:\ (or what drive u want). Call the folder WIN3.1, UnRAR the .RAR in the folder. Now u should get 7 directories. Rename Disk1 to: WIN3.1, and then u must copy all the files from 2-7 to the WIN3.1 (Disk1) directorie. Now if u done that u must open DOSBox and typ: MOUNT C C:\WIN3.1. If u done that u typ: C:\,
and if u done that, u must typ: SETUP.EXE, then follow the full install. Select express install, because costum install will cause problems, then if that install is done u get the further installation, to make ur name. Continue the install untill u get on black screen. Then u must close DOSBox and restart it. Now go to My Computer and select C:\WIN3.1, look if you see your name. if u got that u go to DOSBox. Then typ: MOUNT C C:\WIN3.1\*NAME* and press ENTER. Now typ C:\. And after that u typ: WIN. And now u should get into Windows 3.1!

When started this program, you should see Dosbox Menu, Hold Digital-Left and press X, this will go into numeric key mode. Then press Square twice, it'll get you into Boot Menu. Then here's the key if you need to boot to certain Windows:
Windows 3.1 - Square, Square
Windows 95 - Square, Triangle
Windows 98 - Triangle, Square
Windows XP - /\,/\
This should do it unless you want to type something (it's hard to find letters from all keys so don't really try to do that).
I did NOT make any of these file, just this video to show you that it is possible that you can run old Windows on your PSP. Now you just have fun with these and make your friends jealous.

après avoir bien galèré à chercher pourquoi le dernier dosbox plantait souvent en mode "dynamic core" (surement à cause de la gestion mémoire sous dos par dos4gw), j'ai pu patché ce merveilleux jeu qu'est "RAPTOR" pour qu'il ne plante plus et là c'est du full speed ^^ , j'ai réussi à faire une version de kyrandia 1/2 full cd avec les speechs + amazon queen sans avoir besoin de monter un lecteur cd sous dosbox (avec la psp, ça aurait été dure lol !), bref, que du bonheur, grâce à l'auteur de psp-dosbox "crazyc" qui réssusite de super jeux.

This is me playing through "Oil Tank Holiday", the first mission of Comanche: Maximum Overkill. This is a helicopter simulation of the (now-cancelled) RAH-66 Comanche. The game pioneered the "great graphics, low realism" characteristic that went into most of NovaLogic's games. The graphics were quite impressive for a 1992 DOS game (thanks to the then-pioneering voxel rendering engine), but the flight model is a bit lacking (for example, the collective acts as an altitude selector, changing your actual altitude instead of your rate of climb or descent). At the time, this game competed directly with Gunship 2000 (the only other major helicopter sim of the day), which beat Comanche hands-down in terms of realism and depth of play, but featured relatively flat graphics.
Filmed using the direct-to-AVI feature of DOSBox 0.65, and converted to a YouTube-compatible AVI with mencoder (which comes with MPlayer).
