Klapa Iskon - "Dalmatino povišću pritrujena" Klapa Iskon osnovana je u travnju 2000. godine u Splitu. Osnovana je na inicijativu Ante Blaževića, tadašnjeg člana studentske klape Kondura iz Zadra, u kojoj je pjevao s kolegom Mislavom Biočinom, ujedno i voditeljem Kondure, splićaninom na studiju u Zadru. Pored njih dvojice, u toj je klapi povremeno pjevao i treći osnivač Iskona Nikola Čelan, koji je s njima dvojicom već sudjelovao u radu mlade klape Fjoret i splitskog mješovitog zbora Floridus. Ostala dvojica članova prve postave Iskona bili su Ivan Baletić i Nikša Antica, obojica iskusni pjevači, koji su tijekom djelovanja u renomiranoj klapi Šufit iz Splita postali nerazdvojni tandem, tako da su i Šufit napustili sinhronizirano, te time stekli status "slobodnjaka". Uvertira u rad Iskona, bila je serija tzv. "samita", neformalnih klapskih okupljanja u Slatinama na otoku Čiovu, što ih je Ante Blažević organizirao zajedno sa svojim prijateljem Antom Dorićem, s kojim dijeli i slatinsko podrijetlo, a koji su uz iće, piće i pismu okupljali pjevače spomenute Kondure, Šufita, te splitske klape Versi i nekolicinu drugih klapskih "slobodnjaka" i zaljubljenika. S time u svezi je i nastanak prvog tonskog zapisa "Klapa Iskon u crkve Gospe o' Prizidnic'", materijala kojeg je Ante Dorić snimio i tonski realizirao. Ova je snimka nastala na drugoj probi klape, kao plod spontanog pjevanja, što je sve u skladu s početnim određenjem Iskona, dakle bez stalnih proba, bez voditelja i bez vježbe (osim u posebnim projektima, za rada na autorskim uratcima, narudžbama i sl.). http://www.iskon.dalmatino.de/ Croatian music

Wozdra, ewo par detalja o ideji za video, snimanju itd. Ovako, oko 9. travnja 2008 jednom od najboljih profesora u ovom dijelu sunčevog sustava sinula je ideja kako bi naš razred mogao snimiti video na foru Benny Lava a.k.a. Crazy Indian. Svi smo se složili, javili su se dobrovoljci za glavne glumce i sljedeći dan već je počelo snimanje. Svako je donio po par majci, jakni i sve što je bilo potrebno za snimanje, a profesor se pobrinuo za opremu i da svi budu na okupu i nabrijani za rad. I tako scena po scena, brijeg po brijeg ;) , snimali smo svaku scenu kronološki kako ide i u Crazy indian videu kako bi naš rad izgledao što sličnije. Presvlačilo se, mijenjala se pozicija snimanja, smijalo se, zabavljalo, i sve u svemu rad je ispao i više nego od očekivanog. As evident from any major reference book the Serbs were invited to settle in Krajina in 1578. Ever since Krajina was independent and separate entity from Croatia. Only since 1941 (during Croat Nazi occupation) and after 1945 (during Croat Communist Tito's rule) was Krajina assigned to be part of Croatia. The Croatian attack on the Serbian majority region of Krajina in 1995 resulted in the expulsion of 200,000 to 300,000 Krajina Serbs. This was the largest population displacement during the Yugoslav breakup in the 1990s. It was the largest expulsion in Europe since World War II. Was it the largest act of "ethnic cleansing" since the Holocaust? In 1997, the names of 1,542 Krajina Serbs killed in the assault were recorded. Over 73% of the houses of Krajina Serbs were destroyed. Was the Krajina expulsion an act of genocide not seen in Europe since World War II? The US and Western media referred to it as an "exodus" and an assault to "oust" Serbian rebels, "Croatian Serbs", the oxymoron propaganda term coined by the US State Department. It has been covered-up and deleted from the mainstream history of the Balkan conflicts because the victims were Serbs and because a majority population was destroyed and denied self-determination. The Bill Clinton Administration, along with the Pentagon, the US State Department, the CIA, DIA, NATO, Germany, and Military Professional Resources, Inc. (MPRI), were all involved in the planning and organization of the attack. It is important to remember this largest act of population displacement and "ethnic cleansing" in Europe since the Holocaust because it shows that there were victims on all sides. It also shows the hypocrisy and duplicity of the US policy in dealing with the Serb plight in the Balkans. In Kosovo, the US policy was to support the local majority and grant self-determination to a minority. In Krajina, conversely, the US policy was to deny democracy and prevent self-determination. Indeed, in Krajina, the US policy resulted in the total elimination and displacement of the local majority population, which under the Genocide Convention, was an act of genocide. Krajina demonstrates that all sides to the Balkans conflicts were victims.
