NOTA A LUCIA DE CORSIGLIA DE FIDELA. REALIZADA EN FEBRERO DE 2007 EN AMSAFE ROSARIO, LA CHARLA FUE CONVOCADA POR LA COMISIÓN POR LAS LIBERTADES DEMOCRÁTICAS DE ROSARIO.
MAS INFORMACION:
Desde FIDELA, Fundación Investigación y Defensa Legal Argentina, escribimos para pedir soldiaridad para los 6 campesinos paraguayos presos en la Argentina a pedido de extradición por el gobierno de Duarte Frutos. Como es sabido, estos 6 compañeros, llegaron a nuestro país para pedir refugio, por ser ellos víctimas de una brutal maniobra de persecusión y estigmatización con que el gobierno paraguayo ataca al grueso de los militantes populares que resisten a las políticas de hambre y acorralamiento del pueblo campesino y luchador de aquel país.
Su pedido de refugio derivó en la inmediata detención en Argentina, desoyendo las mínimas normas internacionales de protección de los peticionantes de asilo político.
De ahí en más, comenzó para estos compañeros un calvario que, ha debido pasar por largos meses de detención y que ha desembocado en un juicio llevado a cabo por el Juez Lijo, representante de los nuevos jueces Kirchneristas, quien, pese a reconocer la existencia de arbitrariedades en el proceso jurídico del país hermano, pese a saber de la existencia de torturas a los presos políticos en aquel país, pese a darse por enterado del escandaloso estado de persecusión que existe en Paraguay contra los campesinos y luchadores, falló a favor de la extradición, condenando a estos 6 compañeros al tormento seguro y a las manos de una corrupta e inescrupulosa complicidad del poder judicial con el poder político.
Actualmente, la causa de estos 6 compañeros, que siguen detenidos en Argentina, en el penal de Marcos Paz, está en estado de apelación ante la Corte Suprema.
Pedimos a todos los compañeros que se sientan solidarios con este pueblo en lucha, con la causa del movimiento campesino, pueblo que resiste y es atacado por los grandes capitales sojeros y, en el caso de Paraguay, enfrentado por las guardias blancas entrenadas y pertrechadas por las tropas estadounidenses que allí residen; que hagan llegar su palabra de aliento a estos 6 compañeros injustamente presos. Que hagan saber su solidaridad, del modo que sea posible, para demostrar que cuando tocan a uno nos tocan a todos, y que estos 6 compañeros paraguayos, cuentan con todo el apoyo del pueblo argentino que pide por su refugio y su libertad.
