„Nana Jashvili a masterly virtuoso, is recognized by the press and critics particularly for the emotional intensity and the profound lyricism of her playing. Artistic charizma and outstanding instrumental ability developed under the influence of two cultures: born in Tbilisi (Georgia) she received her initial training from her father Luarsab Jashvili before entering the master class of the great violinist Leonid Kogan at the Moscow conservatory. Having won several national competitions as well as the "Concours International de Montreal" she had her triumphant breakthrough at the age of seventeen, when she won the "Premier Grand Prix" at the International Jacques-Thibaud-Competition, where she was also awarded the "Prix Special" for the best interpretation of Maurice Ravel's "Tzigane". Nana Jashvili is the recipient of several state prices of the Soviet Union. Since then she has given concerts in the great metropoles of music in Europe, Canada and Japan. She has appeared as soloist with well-known orchestras such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Orchestra de Paris and the Moscow and Leningrad Philarmonic Orchestras. She had worked with great conductors such as a.o. Kirill Kondraschin, Kurt Masur, Yehudi Menuhin, Valerie Gergiev, Arnold Katz, Pavel Kogan, Gansug Kachidse. Nana Jashvili is a welcom guest artist on the concert stages at the summer festivals of Vienna, Bregenz and Kopenhagen. Her repertoire extends from the Baroque to the Avantgarde. Her interpretation of the violin concerto op.36 by Schönberg in the Vienna state opera was celebrated as an extraordinary event. As a professor at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen and at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow she also devotes her time to the training of the talented young musicians as well as giving master classes. Nana Jashvili plays a Nicola Gagliano violin.

Нана Яшвили - великолепная скрипачка и виртуоз, получившая признание у прессы и критиков в первую очередь за яркую эмоциональность и глубокую лиричность игры.
Необыкновенный художественный образ и выдающееся владение инструментом сформировались под воздействием двух культур: Нана Яшвили родилась в Тбилиси (Грузия), где получила первые уроки скрипичной игры у своего отца, а затем продолжила обучение в классе великого скрипача Леонида Когана в Московской Консерватории. Она дебютировала в возрасте 14 лет с Московским Филармоническим оркестром.
Ее исполнение скрипичного концерта Ф.Мендельсона произвело большую сенсацию.
Нана Яшвили выиграла ряд национальных и международных конкурсов, в том числе «Concours International de Montreal», но настоящим успехом стала победа на международном конкурсе Жака Тибо в Париже, где она получила «Premier Grand Prix» и «Prix Special» за лучшее исполнение «Цыганки» М.Равеля.
За этим успехом последовали неоднократные присуждения государственных премий Советского Союза и концерты в важнейших музыкальных центрах Европы, Канады и Японии.
Очередным шагом к успеху стало ее выступление на Гала-концерте UNICEF в Лозанне, организованном Питером Устиновым. Нана Яшвили была удостоена чести играть вместо Давида Ойстраха с сэром Йегуди Менухиным.
Нана Яшвили выступала в качестве солиста с лучшими оркестрами мира, среди которых - Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Staatskapelle Dresden, Orchestra de Paris, оркестры Московской и Ленинградской филармоний. Нана Яшвили играет на скрипке Николo Гальяно.
