Led by producers Ian Guenther and Willi Morrison, the THP Orchestra was a Euro-disco outfit that recorded in Toronto, Canada in the late '70s. THP wasn't actually based in Europe, although its three albums reflected the Guenther/Morrison team's appreciation of the type of sleek and glossy (but sometimes funky) dance music was coming out of Germany, France, and other European countries at the time. THP made its vinyl debut in 1977, when it recorded Two Hot for Love! for Butterfly. The LP was ignored by pop/Top 40 radio in the U.S., but that didn't prevent it from becoming a club hit. THP, whose lineups varied from one album to the next, provided its second album, Tender Is the Night, for Butterfly in 1978 before switching to Atlantic in 1979 and recording its third album, Good to Me. By that time, Guenther and Morrison had dropped "Orchestra" from the band's name and were simply going by THP. Good to Me turned out to be THP's final album; by 1980, THP had called it quits. "Dancin' Forever" is one of the song from "Good To Me" album.

Peter was owner of a german disco called Griffinｴs in the city of Baden-Baden. In 1979 he released "Spiderman" as his first single. Shortly thereafter the extremly danceable 12-inch-version was released and the song turned to a major club hit in this year. "Spiderman" was surely Peters best song but I never saw this track on the german airplay charts. I think Peter's club went out of business in the early eighties.Two club hits between 1980-1981 and then nothing. The songs were "Step By Step" which was originally released on Electrola Records out of Germany. So one might surmise that Peter is from Germany. The song gained popularity as an import and the fledgling Moby Dick Records picked it up for U.S. release, issuing a stunning remixed version.
The following year Electrola issued "Inside Out" another uptempo number with catchy hook-filled lyrics. No American company opted to license it, yet it still received good club exposure. Then Peter disappeared. I put this page here in the hopes that someone out there will write us with more information on Peter and his whereabouts.

The vocals were handled by Jason Reed, Jerry Scott, Jessica Williams and Fred Sawyers on their 1978 debut album. When "Let The Music Play" was released, disco was at it's prime and so too was Soussan. He had scored hits with Shalamar and Pattie Brooks previously. Fred, Jessica and Jerry toured the club scene to support their Arpeggio success. By 1980 the finishing touches had been placed on a second album under the banner of Arpeggio, which was now a trio. "Breakout" was another slice of disco magic. Once again only a single 12" was released to promote the album. "Saturday Night/Breakout" was actually released in 1979 prior to the album's release. It did well thanks to the excellent material and group's former success.

"Back To Music" is the title of the Theo Vaness LP which came out in 1978. Songs included "Back To Music", "I Who Have Nothing", "Feelings", "Yesterday", "It's Now Or Never", "What Did I Say", "Blue Suede Shoes" (not to be confused with blue tennis sneakers), "Shake, Rattle and Roll", "Johnny Be Good", and "Tutti Frutti."

I uploaded this song last year, but it wasn't original. Today I found the original version which I used to listen in my high school age.
Theo Vaness, dutch disco singer, best known for "As long as it's love", a gay dancefloor anthem in 1979. Theo developed a medley of nine songs. Many are from the 1950's, and a few from the 1960's. "Back To Music" is the title of the Theo Vaness LP which came out in 1978. Songs included "Back To Music", "I Who Have Nothing", "Feelings", "Yesterday", "It's Now Or Never", "What Did I Say", "Blue Suede Shoes" (not to be confused with blue tennis sneakers), "Shake, Rattle and Roll", "Johnny Be Good", and "Tutti Frutti."
خوانندهء هلندی که نام اصلی اش تئو ون اس میباشدو در دوران طلایی دیسکو دو آهنگ بسیار زیبای «پسر بد» و «بازگشت به موسیقی» وی در ایران بسیار طرفدار داشت.
彼の本名はTheo van Esです。ドイツ人のディスコシンガーは78年から79まで大ヒットしました。As long as it's loveはアメリカで、Bad Bad Boy とBack To Musicはヨーロッパとアジアでとても人気を集めました。
