Shahram Azam is an Iranian doctor famous for his testimony in the death of Zahra Kazemi. Dr. Azam worked as a doctor at Tehran's Baghiattulah military hospital before fleeing Iran. On June 27, 2003, the unconscious body of Kazemi was brought in for examination, and Dr. Azam testified that he had observed many signs of beating and torture on her body. Because of the extent of the injuries, the staff at the hospital was unable to operate, and Kazemi died the next day of respiratory arrest. Dr. Azam fled the country after seeking permission to leave for injuries suffered during the Iran-Iraq war. He and his family instead fled to Sweden, before arriving in Canada on 28 March 2005.

"ذكرى المعلم الكبير" عنوان الحفل المفاجأة للجمهور العريض من محبي فن الكوريوغراف الروسي الشهير إيغور مويسييف ، الذي مضى على وفاته عام كامل، إنه مؤسس أشهر فرقة للفنون الشعبية في العالم على الإطلاق، وهي فرقة مويسييف الحكومية الأكاديمية للرقص الشعبي.
هذه الفرقة التي لاتزال تنهل من المخزون الكبير الذي راكمه هذا الفنان - الأسطورة طوال حياته الفنية، قررت إحياء ذكراه بتقديم مختارات منوعة من أعماله
الجديد في برنامج هذه السنة رقصة بلغارية صممت بعد وفاة المؤسس، مع مراعاة الطريقة والأسلوب الأكاديمي الذي تربى عليهما أعضاء الفرقة. فماذا عن تلامذته الذين تربوا في مدرسته المعطاءة.
صمم أكثر من 300 عمل راقص مستوحى من الفن الشعبي الروسي و العالمي، إنه كالنحلة جنى عبير أزهار بساتين شعوب العالم، وافرز منها لوحات بمذاق محلي وعالمي في آن معا.
