I think one of the biggest influence in my young life was music in my schools. It had such a powerful effect on me, that it saddens and even frightens me to hear that some schools are loosing there music programs.

A fellow RA and myself were putting together a program for Northern RAP, an RA conference. "The Dirty 'D' Word" is a small video I put together for our presentation (which was entitled: Design, Decor and the Dirty "D" Word). It is designed to look like a 1950's educational film. It was very fun to make and sometimes pretty funny too!

One of Us was my attempt at a horror film. Two things wrong with that. I had a bad script, and bad actors. Not that was necessarily their fault. I was part of the bad cast. I just had to use friends, that's all. As for the bad script, well the killer had no motive. It was pretty bad. So the whole thing ending being quite funny. Oh well.

"Late Tension" is a piece that was put together in somewhat of an odd job way. It was created to fulfill an assignment for class, the assignment being this: Create a short narrative with an encounter and change of mood. There can be no on-screen dialog. "Late Tension" is about friendship conflicts. In reality the arguing is nothing more than for arguing's sake. Nothing can come of it. -- The really interesting thing about this piece, technically, is that I lost ALL synced sound during production and had to fabricate all of it.

This piece is one long take or long shot. This refers to long in the temporal sense. There is absolutely no cuts in the entire six minute shot. It is about a man practicing his piano, and realizing he's late for a plane flight! So rushes through the music building where he was practicing, running into some people along the way. Just as he's about to leave, he realizes he forgot his music and has to go back! This is another class project.

This was creating for a small contest in high school. The contest was for the best video or poster that demonstrated the immediate negative effects of tobacco. This piece involves a bunch of dominoes collapsing on top of stinky clothes, yellow teeth and ultimately friendship. The dominoes are of course started with a cigarette.

It is focusing on the Street Musicians of Santa Cruz, and why they're out there doing their thing. Some are honest, some are weird, some are drunk.

UC Berkeley's DeCadence sings to two guys "sparring" in Central Park, New York City. It isn't the best we've ever done with this song, but it was spur of the moment and fun. These guys didn't know what we were doing when we walked up.
Another note: Yes I realize I misspelled "sparring" in the video, and yes, I realize they're not actually sparring. Oops. I'm too lazy to update the text and repost.
