| Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent) - 266 sec A video I took at sunset, on Mayne Island, British Columbia, with the smoke from a Dunhill cigarette pinched from the duty-free carton of a Taipei friend. It was July long weekend, 2008. Davey'd just got back from Kuwait. Waterhouse was absent, the cock.
I like this song, and at some point I'll make a more yearningly funereal video for it, but this'll have to do for now.
Hope you like it. Please rate and comment. Auteur : thethunderbird Tags: ambient brian eno another day on earth an ending (ascent) smoke clouds mayne island cigarettes dunhill electronic music |

| Leonard Cohen - One of Us Cannot Be Wrong - 260 sec The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is the former fastest, former most powerful street-legal production car in the world.
But it also keeps the title of the most expensive, street-legal full production car ever made. It can produce an excess of 1001 horsepower, in either the metric or SAE scale (see below), and achieve a top speed of 253 mph. This speed and power was eclipsed by the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, which claimed the "Fastest Production Car" world record with a top speed of 257.45 mph and an average speed of 256.19 mph on September 13 2007, later verified by Guinness World Records on October 9, 2007.
The Bugatti Veyron reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS in its Molsheim (Alsace, France) factory and is sold under the French Bugatti marque. It is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm.
The song? Leonard Cohen's 'One of Us Cannot Be Wrong'--the perfect complement to fast cars. Auteur : thethunderbird Tags:Bugatti Veyron speed testing top car drag race Leonard Cohen One of Us Cannot Be Wrong |
