The entrances for Catwoman, Black Cat and Starfire. Do these ladies actually fight wearing those outfits? How the hell do they keep they sweater puppies from popping out during a fight?
Never mind. This is my first try at a Catwoman. I'm not a fan of the character, but after looking at her in the DC vs Mortal Kombat previews, she grew on me a little. I'm not quite happy with her looks just yet. She doesn't have her cat ears (even though SvsR allows ears) because I couldn't get the texture right. And of course, she doesn't have a tail. And for some reason, the XviD codec hates purple. So she might change quite a bit before you see her in an actual fight.
The Black Cat has already had a couple of fights, but someone asked me to see her intro so here it is. She seems to be terribly popular for reasons I can't quite get my hands on (though I would certainly love to get my hands on those "reasons"). And yes, she'll be fighting Catwoman as soon as I finish her.
Starfire isn't a Teen Titan anymore, which means she isn't jailbait anymore, so feel free to drool over her near complete lack of modesty. What the hell planet is she from and how can I get there, anyway?

Oh, my goodness, Mary has gone dark again. I swear to Zeus, that girl is moodier than... eh, well, she's slightly moodier than a regular teenage girl. Or at least she changes her style as often as a teenage girl. Never mind. She looks pretty good in black too. Though the next time she'll probably be back to her white outfit. This is probably just a one-time thing. It's just that Power Girl wears white, and she didn't want to, you know, wear white too. It's a girlie thing, you know how it it.
Anyway. The other Girl of Steel faces the Girl of... Cheese? Well, Mary's brother is usually referred to as "The Big Cheese", so does that make her "The Little Cheese"? Never mind that. Mary recently defeated former World Champion She-Hulk and she's itching for a chance to get her hands on current Champion the Female Ultron. But first she'll have to go through DC's Twin Mountains of Justice before she gets that chance.

Fourth fight of the NSST (non super-strong Tournament). A tournament for the girls who depend on their fighting skills rather than gigantic muscles. The fighters are Batgirl, Black Cat, Black Canary and Elektra.
Both these ladies are undefeated in the tournament and in the league, a fact that would be a whole lot more impressive if they had fought more than the three fights they have between the two of them.
Elektra looked very sharp as she defeated Black Canary in her first fight, and the Black Cat has looked stunning in both her fights. And she fought well too (rimshot). Black Cat seems to be a fan favorite around here, or at least her two kittens are (rimshot). But never mind that. The winner of this fight will put herself at the top of the tournament with one foot on the title.
NOTE: this fight is originally close to 11 minutes long. Since Youtube has a limit of ten minutes for the videos, I had to compress the fight, meaning it runs 10% faster than the original video does. This is barely noticeable but if you want to watch the fight at its intended speed (and at higher resolution), you can find it in the repository here:

It's a fight to get the hell out of the basement as the losers of their respective first fights face off. Batgirl lost a very tough fight against Black Cat and she's hellbent on teaching Black Canary who is the best martial arts expert in the DC universe. At least among the girls. The good girls, I mean. Anyway, for those who missed it, this tournament is a round-robin, so losing the first fight doesn't mean you're out. So, technically, at least, both of these ladies still have a chance to win, though clearly the odds are against them.

In the comics, Wonder Woman is the toughest woman in the whole DC Universe, yet her fights against Bizarro have never gone her way despite the fact that she must be at least his equal in strength and ten times his superior is fighting skills. In fact, in Trinity (not the current comic called "Trinity", the first one), Diana got the beating of her life in the hands of one of the stupidest beings in the whole universe, ending the fight with a bloody face, a black eye, and an ego as badly bruised as her shapely body. If you thought Wondie's fans were the only ones unhappy about it, you should hear the Amazon Princess' opinion of it.
And what can I say about Bizarro? He's little more than a running joke. He started out as a bizarro version of Superman from a bizarro universe. He wasn't dumb, just evil. Then he was a clone gone bad, and I think he's back to being from a parallel dimension or something. He's supposed to be as strong as Superman, but with a penchant for speaking backwards. And by backwards I mean that up is down, happy is sad, and good is bad. Though his speech patterns are about as consistent as Joda's faux-Japanese in the last two Star Wars prequels.

Ms. Marvel makes her debut in HD against She-Hulk's most stubborn and ineffectual foe, Titania, who got a nice makeover since the last time we saw her. Both ladies' masks are now much more accurate than they used to be, though in the crappy resolution of the old videos it was hard to notice anyway.
Not much blood between these two to speak of, but neither has had a stellar record in the fights around here, and they're both itching to get their hands on someone they can beat up mercilessly.
And watch out Ms. Marvel, Titania is a bit of a dirty bitch.

Ok, so I was bored. I wanted to do something different, so I had a bit of fun with the fight's intro. I hope you like it.
Anyway, the Female Ultron has pretty much laid waste with every superheroine in her path, so why would She-Ra think she's qualified to defeat her when much more experienced superheroines have failed? In She-Ra's own words: "I mean, she's, like, a robot. All I have to do is wait until she comes running toward me, take one step to the side, and she'll just smash into another robot coming the other way. Fighting evil robots is, like, that simple."
Let's just say that having the most ridiculous villains outside of the Wonder Woman TV show has given She-Ra an unrealistic idea of what fighting villains is all about.

After her defeat by the Female Ultron, which cost her the World Championship, She-Hulk is, shall we say, not in a good mood. The Jade Giantess has been trying to find a victim, er, I mean a worthy opponent so she can show off her new costume, not to mention squeeze the life out of her with her gigantic green muscles. She even tried contacting her old foe Titania, but despite all the evidence to the contrary, Titania isn't quite stupid enough to get into a ring with She-Hulk when she's this angry.
In the other corner is Mary Marvel. The "good" Mary Marvel. The "spectacularly pissed off" Mary Marvel. After what DC Comics did to her in Countdown and what they're doing to her in Final Crisis, she's looking forward to rain some righteous, greek-god inspired butt kicking on Dan Didio and the rest of DC's Powers That Be. But for the moment Marvel Comics' strongest superheroine will have to do. Then she'll find Didio and make him eat something rather unpleasant. Like a fertilizer truck or something. Maybe two of those.

In this fight Black Canary faces the favorite Elektra. The DC blonde with the fishnet stockings hasn't had much luck lately in the wrestling circuit so she decided to change her outfit and make it, shall we say, less constrictive. Translation: now she shows plenty of cleavage. If she was fighting a man, I'm sure that would make a world of difference, but Elektra doesn't swing that way, so it's unlikely to help Black Canary.
And then we have Elektra. Which Elektra is this? The real Elektra? The one from the movie? Or the Skrull Elektra? I have been going out of my way to avoid Marvel's Secret Invasion event, but I did notice that the whole thing started when they killed Elektra and she turned out to be s Skrull. I'm not sure if that was worse than what DC did to Mary Marvel, but it all goes to show that neither company knows how to treat the ladies right. Bunch of nerds they are.

First fight of the NSST (non super-strong Tournament). A tournament for the girls who depend on their fighting skills rather than gigantic muscles. The fighters are Batgirl, Black Cat, Black Canary and Elektra.
In this fight, Barbara Gordon, a.k.a., Batgirl faces Felicia Harding, a.k.a., the Black Cat. Who has the advantage? It's hard to tell. Batgirl is a top-caliber martial artists with lots of brains as an added bonus. The Black Cat's toughness depends on which version you're talking about. The one from the 90's Spider-man cartoon was a super soldier with little martial arts training, but lots of brute strength. The comics version is supposed to be much more skilled in fighting, but without the super soldier strength. Given the nature of this tournament, this Black Cat would be the one from the comics.
As far as the tournament itself, Elektra is the clear favorite. She's a trained assassin, and while the other three have martial arts training, they never aim for the kill. Black Canary might have an unfair advantage if she could use her canary cry, but she can't, so she's completely dependent on her fists. And she's got a new outfit, which you'll see in the next fight when she faces Elektra.

The Girl of Steel faces one of the most powerful monsters in DC comics' history: Doomsday. The monster that killed Superman. Needless to say, Kara is more than a little ticked off about the last part, though I'm sure that trying to survive this fight might be a more pressing concern for her than avenging her cousin's (temporary) death.
And what can I say about Doomsday? He's one ugly Mother Farmer. I'm not sure I quite captured his sheer ugliness. His only true defining characteristic is the weird spikes that grow all over his body. Unfortunately, I can't do that on SvsR, and they would be illegal anyway (he could poke someone's eyes out with those things), so he had to settle for tattoos, which look surprisingly better than I expected.
Can the Maid of Might stand her ground against the monster that laid waste to pretty much all the DC's superheroes before killing Superman? Can the beauty beat the beast?

The toughest TV superheroine from the 70's faces the toughest cartoon superheroine from the 80's. Granted, a sizable portion of their invincibility in their respective shows was due to the fact that neither one ever faced anyone anywhere near their own power level. Well, that's not completely true for Wondie. She did face that Darth Vader wannabe, and that alien guy who turned into a weird neanderthal. And then there's the ant chic who was supposed to be pretty strong. But for the most part, the Wonder Woman TV show was mainly about Wondie tossing around a bunch of hapless guys who'd have a hard time beating Bruce Lee's 6-year-old niece, let alone DC's strongest lady. And She-Ra? Like her brother He-Man, her enemies were such a bunch of worthless weaklings the only question was why the hell she didn't just drag their sorry butts to jail in the first two minutes of the show and get it over with.
Say all you want about professional wrestling (it's silly, fake, childish, ridiculous, etc.), but the one thing they got right is that a hero cannot be truly heroic unless she faces seemingly insurmountable odds against her. When all your superheroine ever faces are wimps and idiots that she can easily defeat, it doesn't make her look tough and competent, it only makes her enemies look like stupid pathetic wimps, and it makes her look weak as well.
So, for everyone who ever dreamed of She-Ra facing an enemy that could lift things heavier than a small mosquito, for everyone who wished to see Lynda Carter fighting someone who could actually throw a punch that would do more than tickle her, for anyone who thought it was the height of inanity for a fight to end with the villain charging the heroine, she stepping aside and the villain plunging to his death or smashing into another villain coming the other way, for you here's my humble contribution to your wet dreams.

Here is a nice group of ladies whose outfits are nearly finished, but I still haven't found a good fight for them to show them off.
First off is the Amazon Princess. Pretty much a cleaned-up version of the outfit she already had. The only two mayor differences are the lasso (which, obviously, she cannot use in a fight), and the little star in her tiara (which you can only see in close-ups anyway). The Lynda Carter version of Wondie had little red stars in her wrist shields or whatever the hell those things are called, while the comic's version doesn't. For the moment this version doesn't have the stars, but I'm thinking of adding them. Any thoughts?
Diana is followed by the new girl, Elektra. Her outfit here is a weird combination of the movie outfit (shows midriff) and the classic outfit, which attempts to display Elektra's apparent distaste for symmetry. Her bottom doesn't look like the comic's version because I never liked the whole Tarzan-loincloth thing anyway.
Then comes hyper-nice-girl Mary Marvel. I finally fixed the problem with the skirts in GSdx so she kept hers, though I was thinking of getting rid of it (like with my latest Supergirl version), but for the moment it stays put. (Don't have any dirty thoughts; she's jailbait.) I gave her long sleeves like she had in the last issues of Countdown because I thought they looked cool and because that was the last time DC Comics treated her with any semblance of respect. Of course, that semblance of respect lasted about two issues and if you're a fan of the character do not, I repeat DO NOT read Final Crisis #3. Seriously, I'm not kidding about the last part.
Last but not least comes former World Champion She-Hulk. She's never had anything that I could qualify as a proper outfit, and the one she used to wear around here was merely the result of my laziness. So I gave her an outfit similar to the one she wears on the early issues of her current comic. Not a particularly inspired outfit by any stretch of the imagination, but then again, she's just there to fulfill female-bodybuilder fantasies, so as long as she shows her bulging biceps and six-pack abs, everyone will be happy.

The Black Canary vs the Black Cat. Let's not make a big deal about the fact that two of the most famous female comic-book characters with the word "black" on their name are about as black as a bastard child of Drew Carrey and Audrey Hepburn. Let's just focus on the two girl's actual attributes. Like the canary's signature fishnets and the cat's signature cleavage and inhumanly white hair. I must admit I'm more than a little surprised, given the time when she was created, that Black Canary's outfit has neither a little canary drawn on her chest, nor fake feathers. Though I think her first outfit did have a little canary somewhere, but she grew out of it. Maybe some day she'll also grow out of the belief that canaries are tough animals, even when they're black. And wear fishnets.
I'm actually not familiar with the comic's version of Black Cat. I'm more familiar with her version from the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, where she was a super soldier and could actually put up a fight against someone stronger than a canary. From what I've heard, the comics version doesn't have any real super powers, just some ludicrously under-defined ability to cause bad luck on people or some other crappy superpower typical from "The House of Ideas." And has anyone noticed that the Black Cat is merely a Catwoman ripoff? Oh you did. Well, good for you. But I don't like Catwoman (and this has surprisingly little to do with the movie), so you won't see her here.
And if you think the cat has a clear advantage over the canary, you haven't watched enough looney tunes in your life. I suggest you correct that oversight immediately.

Finally ready to show up her new look, the X-Men's Rogue steps into the ring against none other than the Gladiator. In case you were wondering, the triangular sign on Gladiator's chest roughly translates to "I'm am not a Superman ripoff (tm)". And I must clarify that I merely copied Gladiator's look from the comics. There's no chance in hell I would've personally designed a male character with knee-high boots, long gloves, a red corset and a Mohawk. But he's actually in the comics and he's faced Rogue a couple of times, and I was running out of Superman ripoffs to get beaten up by my favorite ladies, so here he is.
Oh, and by the way, I fixed the problem with the signs. As I'm sure very few noticed (or cared), the signs held by the rednecks in the audience didn't work with the new plugin, but I hacked the thing and now you can see them. Not that they ever say anything remotely non-retarded. However, the latter part might change in the near future.

Because you can never have too many readheaded superheroines... because you can never have too many superheroines with the word "girl" in their name... oh, yes, Batgirl is here. And I mean the Barbara Gordon Batgirl, not what's-her-name Batgirl. I was very reluctant to do her before because, since her outfit is all black, I though all you'd see would be a black blob with red hair. But with the new graphics plugin and the whole HD thing, finally my personal World's Finest (Girls) collection is complete. Her body looks pretty good, specially on close-ups. The head isn't quite as Batgirly as I wanted, but Smackdown vs Raw doesn't have anything to cover the head the right way, so I did the solomonic thing and just gave her a mask. I always thought the one and only thing they did right in Batman and Robin was not covering so much of Batgirl's beautiful head.
Now let's see if she survives her first fight against the Cheetah, who has superhuman strength and speed, and is usually a match for even the mighty Wonder Woman.
As any self-respecting Batman fan would tell you, give The Bat enough time to formulate a plan, and he could beat anyone. Barbara Gordon might not be The Bat, but she's as clever as it gets, and she was personally trained by the master. In raw brain power, Barbara is probably the smartest superheroine in the DC universe. And she can kick ass as well. Or at least she could until DC Comics decided (once again) they had too many female versions of male characters and crippled her.

To the infinite happiness of at least one guy I know, here's the new and improved Rogue. In HD no less. I'm rather happy with the way she came out, though I'm not 100% happy with the boots and the gloves, but those are hardly noticeable during a fight anyway. I had to get rid of her trademark brown jacket because there was no way to make it look good, and it kinda looks out of place in a wrestling ring anyway.
If things look a bit purplish, blame Vince McMahon. The Smackdown arena uses purple lights for some unholy reason.
Of course, my biggest problem right now is that after the utter hotness that was Supergirl's new outfit, everything else will probably be a huge letdown in comparison. In fact, I already finished upgrading Wonder Woman but I won't bother posting her entrance because she almost looks ugly compared to Supergirl.
And as soon as I'm finished upgrading all my favorite wrestlers I'll compile the neat little package I've been promising for weeks so everyone with a fast computer and Smackdown vs Raw 2008 can make their own superheroine wrestling videos.

Apparently, when I was doing some tests the other day, I accidentally erased this video. Or at least I remember having uploaded it last week. Maybe I dreamed it. Oh well, never mind, here it is again.
Finally, after easily plowing through everyone in her path, the Female Ultron (who isn't naked; she just doesn't wear any clothes) has made it to the championship match against the current World Champion of the Superheroine Wrestling League: the mighty She-Hulk.
After uploading the hi-def videos and the new and improved costumes using the new and infinitely better graphics plugin, the old videos look kinda crappy to say the least. But I have a neat little wrestling soap opera written and this match is important for it, so I'll repost it just for completenes' sake.

This is my first fully HD match, and who better to put high-resolution to the test than these two ladies? It's not like I made this one just to compare sizes between the two lovely girls, but it's kinda unavoidable, isn't it?
For those who are new here, this is Supergirl's "Hotpants" outfit. It's losely based on the outfit she wore during the 70's. She used to cover her belly button back then, but the cleavage isn't an exaggeration. Back then Power Girl was the conservative one, which in comic's terms is like saying "back them Wolverine was the friendly one" or "back them Hulk was the eloquent one."
