Reng in Chahargah from Rokn'ul-din Khan. Played on Santour. Just made a quick video of a fun song. Reng, pronounced with a rolling "R", is a classification denoting a rhythmic piece usually in 6/8 and probably used for dancing.

This is a test video. I'm testing out DVD conversion so I can video tape stuff and put it up here. As I am gloriously boasting, I converted it with something unregistered so its got a watermark. HAHA. This is a funny vid. I was playing on my cousin's santour which I was tuning copiously before hand, and its still wacked. Meanwhile, the family's getting bored. I'm playing a zarbi composed by Ostad Behroozinia in Avaz-i-Abu-atta. I know the santour doesn't sound great. But I'll replace this vid with a better one once I find a good conversion program, AKA, one without a watermark. Also, this was back in summer 2006 when I had a hell of a lot of hair. I didn't realize it was so long.
