After countless days of deadly politically motivated killings have shaken Lebanon, pitting supporters of the US-backed government against the Hezbollah-led opposition. The recent violence is the worst since the end of the 15-year civil war in 1990. But what's REALLY happening in Lebanon?
SUMMARY:
Why has Hezbollah taken to the streets of Lebanon?
The governments decision to dismantle Hezbollah's telecommunication and surveillance networks at Beirut airports. Hassan Nasrallah was not going to sit around and watch his security network be torn to pieces.
Is this a coup?
No. Sheikh Nasrallah recently said "Had we [Hezbollah] wanted a coup, they(government leaders)would have woken up to find themselves in jail or thrown in the sea."
Who is responsible?
Sa'ad Hariri, the US and Saudi Arabia.

-Sex is not evil, it is only the person, the agent, the soul, which may bring different desires together and with a miscalculation, or misdirection may come off with some tendency towards the evil
-We, as Humans have two types of desires, one type of desires we share with animals, for example the desires for food, sex, rest. These desires are not neccessarily moral, it is up to US to satisfy these desires in either a moral or immoral way
-However, we, as Humans have other desires which are not shared with animals, the desire for knowledge, serving others, beauty, devotion to God
-All desires provide moral impact int our life
- Either these desires are all neutral, which we share with animals, or they are all certainly moral
-Islam teaches that all desires are created by the Almighty God
-The desire for sex, relationship with the opposite gender, is not bad and is something which is needed, however this is not moral by itself, it is neutral. The intention of this sexual desire makes it either moral or immoral
-The attitude towards the sexual desire can either make it moral, spiritual or on the other hand something purely immoral and lower than animals
-This desire is something God has put in the 'design' of running human life
-If the desire of sex is used to maintain family, becomes sacred, as the Prophet of Islam has said 'Marriage is the most sacred construction'
-Islam recommends and promotes marriage
-When sexual relations are done within the framework of the 'family' it becomes a spiritual method to get closer to God
-The intellect must control the sexual desire, otherwise the desire would be satisfied in ways which are immoral
-The Youth should be prepared as to how to control and channel this desire
-Islam disapproves of open displays of sexuality and promotes sexuality which occurs inside the framework of marital relationships
-The pressure of the sexual desire which is left without guidance and direction is like that of a river with fast flowing water, if you dont control the current of this water, it may go and flood houses and kill children who cannot cope with the pressure of the current, but if you control the water and direct the water towards a dam, then you can use this energy for making many good things out of it, so instead of being harmful, you can make it beneficial
-If this strong and powerful sexual desire is directed towards the family relations, then like the river, it is so powerful that it can mantain families and save them from collapse, can bring love, mercy and passion to the family, but if we leave it, and don't direct it, then this desire damages the society and the family
-Islam is very much in favor of sexuality that is guided towards the benefit and interest of human beings
-Islam tells the men to lower the gaze when looking at women in order to respect and maintain her modesty and dignity
-In Islam both man and women have equal say in marriage, parents cannot force marriages
-'Islamic' countries are failing their duty in educating their people on marital relationships

Norman Finkelstein, a Jewish American political scientist and author, specializing in Jewish-related issues and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in particular talks about the Lebanese militia Hezbollah and openly supports and praises their resistance: "They (Hezbollah) show courage, they show discipline, I respect that"
On Israeli defeat and consequential withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000, Finkelstein says:"But the reality was -- and everyone understood it -- that the Israeli attitude was: We are going to knock out Hizbullah. They began planning for a new war right after they were forced to leave in 2000. They found their excuse, their pretext, in July 2006, but there is no question among rational people that Israel was never going to let the Hizbullah victory go by."
"There is no way that the United States and Israel are going to tolerate any resistance (to their hegemony) in the Arab world."
On the damage caused to Lebanon as a result of the resistance: "It's better to die on your feet than to walk crawling on your knees....how can I not respect those (Hezbollah) who say they would rather die on their feet? How can I not respect that?"
Finkelstein then goes on to slam the stances taken by some sell out Arabs who continue to admire George Bush like 'Servants' despite Bush being the man behind the carpet bombing of Lebanon and says that Bush should be classified as 'persona non grata':"Who (would) roll out the red carpet less than two years after your whole country was destroyed by them (the US)? "

Iran's navy on Wednesday (28th November) launched anew, domestically made Ghadir-class light submarine in the waters of the Gulf, local Fars news agency reported.
The submarine outfitted with the latest military and technological equipment was launched in a ceremony on the occasion of the Navy Day in a military base in Bandar Abbas, the report said.
The new Ghadir-class light submarine was designed and manufactured by the Iranian industrial universities with 10 years of work, according to the report.
The submarine's capabilities are equal to those of foreign types and due to its light weight, it is able to carry out missions at a very high speed, Iranian navy experts were quoted assaying.
Iran's official media had reported that the new Ghadir-class light submarine can fire missiles and torpedoes simultaneously and operate with sonar-avoiding capability.
According to foreign military experts, Iran's inventory of submarines patrolling Gulf waters includes at least three Russian-built Kilo-class diesel submarines.
