Bentley is a seven year old yellow labrador retriever. He was born right about the time that we were inventing the BirdieBall, golf practice ball. The BirdieBall travels about 40 yards when hit with a full swing with a mid-iron. For seven years, rain, sun or snow we hit BirdieBalls to Bentley. We estimate that we have hit an average of 50 BirdieBalls a day to him for seven years. Thats about 128,000 chases. The other day when I was hitting them for him to chase, I noticed that he was not catching the same high percentage that he used to catch. Knowing that his days of catching BirdieBalls are numbered we decided to do a video shoot to show some of his skill, even though he has lost a step. Ya, gotta love Bentley.
