| Sweet Child o' Mine in Mario Paint Composer - 92 sec
Okay, I know I've been rather dormant on the MPC front for a few months, but I have my reasons. Mostly, I had other things to attend to, including applying for (and landing!) two jobs. I also have been trying to finish a stepwriting project, and I keep extending my predicted completion date. Finally, in the last few weeks, I've had video recording issues that were finally resolved tonight by reinstalling some codecs. So, as per a request from Skizzick, I took a shot at more of Sweet Child o' Mine than anyone else has posted.
If the sounds seem a bit different than usual, it's because they are. SatoshiLyish has created a few new soundsets for MPC which are a clear improvement over the default ones. This soundset features an echo/sustain effect for each note, meaning the swans now sound more like electric guitar, which made them perfect for this song.
I know it's not the whole song, but the rest is either much the same or an impossible-to-transcribe guitar solo.

| Portal Radio Song in Mario Paint Composer - 91 sec
This is the other version of "Still Alive" in the game Portal. It sounded like it would be fun to try, and it's such a short, catchy loop... I couldn't resist! Naturally, some of the parts were slightly improvised (the cars and the Game Boys), but luckily I have a bit of practice playing samba music. Originally, the Game Boys were cats, but they competed too much with the horns for the melody.

The video is only about a minute and a half long because that's about as much of the Macarena you can stand and have it still be funny. ;) I had to make small melodic sacrifices, but they're not terribly noticable.
