Add a Photo to Google Earth - 136 sec
Shows how to place a photo as it was taken against Google Earth's 3D terrain (or buildings). See blog post for more: http://www.gearthblog.com/blog/archives/2008/04/advanced_photo_placement_in_google.html Google Earth lets you add a photo as it was taken. In other words, in the same direction, angle, and zoom as the original photo was taken. If you match it against Google's background 3D terrain (or if the same 3D buildings are there), you can get surprisingly accurate placement.

Variety of Google Earth Content - 150 sec
This video demonstrates the huge variety of Google Earth content by showing images from Google Earth Blog (http://gearthblog.com) from August 2005 through the end of 2007. Unfortunately, because it is a fast-paced slideshow, the YouTube compression makes the images look blurry. I will try to find a home for the original video (without the compression artifacts) if this ends up being popular.
