OCHA: Israel Orders Demolition of 3,000 Palestinian Homes
Ten West Bank Communities at Risk of Complete Displacement

To date, more than 3,000 Palestinian-owned structures in the West Bank have pending Israeli demolition orders, which can be immediately executed without prior warning, including at least ten small communities at risk of being almost entirely displaced, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a statement on Tuesday.

Children are frequently disproportionately affected by the demolition of their homes and the subsequent displacement of their families. According to a recent study, children are separated from their parents and face gaps in access to education, health facilities and clean water in the immediate aftermath of a house demolition, OCHA said.
During the first quarter of 2008, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished 124 structures allegedly due to a lack of building permits; this is more than the total number of demolitions carried out in the whole of 2007 (107).
Sixty-one of the demolished structures were residential and led to the displacement of 435 Palestinians, including at least 135 children.
Most of these demolitions occurred in the Jordan Valley and South Hebron areas. This trend, however, was discontinued in the following two months (as of 20 May), when only one structure was demolished.
Since the beginning of the occupation in 1967 Palestinian-owned structures lacking building permits have been demolished by Israeli authorities. However, following the division of the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) into different jurisdictional areas in the framework the Oslo agreements, such demolitions have been restricted to areas classified as C, which cover approximately 62% of the West Bank territory.
Demolitions are being carried out by the IOF also during military operations, including arrest operations, and due to proximity to the route of the Apartheid Wall Israel is building on OPT.
Over 400 Palestinian villages and towns (excluding East Jerusalem) have at least part of their built-up area in Area C. The number of Palestinians living in those areas is estimated at over 228,000. Among them, about 44,000 reside in 130 communities, whose built-up area lies entirely (greater than 99%) in Area C.
Over 94% of applications for building permits in Area C, submitted to the Israeli authorities by Palestinians between January 2000 and September 2007, were denied. During this period 5,000 demolition orders were issued, and over 1,600 Palestinian buildings were demolished.
Given the inability to obtain building permits, many Palestinians no longer apply and instead build without them in order to meet their needs, despite the ever-present risk of demolition.
"The denial of permits for Palestinians on such a large scale raises the fear that there is a specific policy by the authorities to encourage a 'silent transfer' of the Palestinian population from Area C," the Israeli settlement watchdog Peace Now said in a recent report, quoted by AFP.

Archbishop Tutu describes his feelings after visiting Gaza
Nobel peace laureate Desmond Tutu has called Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip an "abomination".
He strongly condemned what he called international "silence and complicity" on the blockade, which he compared to the actions of Burma's leaders.
Speaking at the end of a two day mission to the area, the former archbishop said the humanitarian situation there could not be justified.
Earlier, 60 Palestinians were detained in an Israeli raid on northern Gaza.
Residents in the Beit Hanoun area were summoned to a local square by Israeli troops with loudhailers before dozens were taken away, witnesses said.
'International complicity'
Mr Tutu was in Gaza on a United Nations fact-finding mission into the killing of 19 Palestinians by Israeli shellfire in November 2006.

The former archbishop of Cape Town said the international community's "silence and complicity, especially on the situation in Gaza, shames us all".
Mr Tutu said conflicts were resolved through talking to enemies not friends.
He said his meeting with the deposed prime minister, Ismail Haniya, was an opportunity to tell the Hamas leader the firing of rockets into Israel was also a violation of human rights.
During his two-day visit, Mr Tutu met relatives of 19 civilians killed in the Israeli shelling of two houses in Beit Hanoun and is due to report his findings to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
He condemned the incident as a "massacre".
Israel says the Beit Hanoun deaths in November 2006 were a mistake during action to target areas used by Palestinian militants.
The Israeli military confirmed its pre-dawn incursion into Gaza on Thursday and said about 60 "wanted Palestinians" were being interrogated.
Armoured military bulldozers destroyed farmland during the incursion, witnesses told AFP news agency.
Israeli forces launch frequent attacks into Gaza which they say are aimed at combating Palestinian militants who fire rockets into Israel.

Ramallah, 17-12-07: The international orchestra which refused to perform in the Gaza Strip yesterday after its sole Palestinian member, violinist Ramzi Aburedwan, was barred from entering the Strip by the Israeli authorities, performed a concert in solidarity with the people of Gaza from Ramallah today.
The orchestra had been due to perform at the Latin Church in Gaza City yesterday as part of a Baroque Music Festival which is taking place throughout Palestine and Israel.

Marcel Khalifé est né en 1950 à Amchit au Mont-Liban.
Ses études au conservatoire national de Beyrouth le consacrent spécialiste du luth oriental. Il contribue depuis à rénover l'utilisation de cet instrument.
De 1970 à 1975 Marcel Khalifé enseigne dans ce même conservatoire et dans d'autres institutions locales. En même temps, il donne des concerts de ´Oud´ en soliste au Proche-Orient, en Afrique du Nord, en Europe et en Amérique du Nord.
Emprisonné dans des techniques très strictes, c'est grâce à des musiciens de sa qualité que les possibilités du ´Oud´ se sont de plus en plus développées.
En 1972 il crée dans son village natal un groupe qui a pour but de faire revivre l'héritage musical et la chorale arabe. Les premières tournées ont lieu au Liban. L'ensemble ´Al Mayadine´ voit le jour en 1976. Enrichi de l'expérience du groupe local précédent, sa notoriété dépassera les frontières du Liban. Marcel Khalifé, accompagné de son ensemble musical, commence à effectuer de nombreuses tournées dans les pays arabes, en Afrique, en Europe, aux Etats-Unis, au Canada, en Amérique du Sud, en Australie, au Japon et ce jusqu'à nos jours.
Il fut plusieurs fois l'invité de festivals de renommée internationale tels que: Baalbeck, Beit Eddine (Liban), Carthage, El Hammamat (Tunisie), Timgad (Algérie), Jarash (Jordanie), Opéra du Caire (Egypte) Arles (France), Krems, Linz (Autriche), Bremen (Allemagne), ReOrient (Suède), Pavia (Italie), World Music Festival à San Francisco, New York, Clevland (USA). Marcel Khalifé was born in 1950 in Amchit, Lebanon. He studied the oud (the Arabic lute) at the Beirut National conservatory, and, ever since, has been injecting a new life into the oud.
From 1970 to 1975, Marcel Khalifé taught at the conservatory and other local institutions. During that same period, he toured the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and the United States giving solo performances on the oud.
oud playing was traditionally constrained by the strict techniques that governed its playing. Highly talented and skillful musicians such as Marcel Khalifé were, however, able to free the instrument from those constraints and thus greatly expanding its possibilities.
In 1972, Marcel Khalifé created a musical group in his native village with the goal of reviving its musical heritage and the Arabic chorale. The first performances took place in Lebanon. 1976 saw the birth of Al Mayadine Ensemble. Enriched by the previous ensemble's musical experiences, Al Mayadine's notoriety went well beyond Lebanon. Accompanied by his musical ensemble, Marcel Khalifé began a lifelong far-reaching musical journey, performing in Arab countries, Europe, the United States, Canada, South America, Australia, and Japan.
Marcel Khalifé has been invited several times to festivals of international fame such as: Baalbeck, Beit Eddine (Lebanon), Carthage, El Hammamat (Tunisia), Timgad (Algeria), Jarash (Jordan), Arles (France), Krems, Linz (Austria), Bremen (Germany), ReOrient (Sweden), Pavia (Italy), World Music Festival in San Francisco, New York, Cleveland (the USA).
He has performed in such prestigious halls as the "Palace of Arts" in Montreal, "Symphony Space" and "Merkin Concert" in New York, "Berklee Theatre" and "New England Conservatory" in Boston, "Royal Festival Hall", and "Queen Elizabeth Hall" in London, "UNESCO Palace" of Beirut, Cairo Opera House (Egypt), "Reciprocity", "House of the Cultures of the World" and "UNESCO Hall" in Paris, "Central Dionysia" in Rome, "Yerba Buena" in San Francisco, "Sodra Teatern" in Stokholm.

Marcel Khalifé has also been composing soundracks for film, documentary and fiction, produced by Maroun Baghdadi and Oussama Mouhamad among others.
He has also composed several purely instrumental works like The Symphony of Return, Chants of the East, Concerto Al Andalus- Suite for Oud and Orchestra, Mouda'aba (Caress) , Diwan Al Oud, Jadal Oud duo, Oud Quartet, Al Samaa in the traditional Arabic forms and Taqasim, duo for oud and double bass and most recently Sharq performed by the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Piacenza Choir.
Marcel Khalifé's compositions have been performed by several orchestras, notably the Kiev Symphony Orchestra, the Academy of Boulogne Billancourt Orchestra, The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of the city of Tunis, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra and the "Absolute Ensemble".
Since 1982, Marcel Khalifé has been writing books on music that reflect his avant garde compositions and the maturity of his experience.
His challenges, however, are not only musical in character. Interpreter of music and oud performer, he is also a composer who is deeply attached to the text on which he relies. In his association with great contemporary Arab poets, particularly Palestinian poet par excellence, Mahmoud Darwish, he seeks to renew the character of the Arabic song, to break its stereotypes, and to advance the culture of the society that surrounds it.
His lyrical recordings adds up to about 20 albums, the likes Promises of the storm, Ahmad Al Arabi, Weddings, Peace Be With you, Ode To A Homeland, Arabic Coffeepot, The Children, and Body(Al Jassad,) to name a few.
On his journey, Marcel Khalifé invents and creates original music, a novel world of sounds, freed of all pre-established rules. This language elevates him to the level of an ambassador of his own culture and to the vanguard of Near Eastern music in search of innovators.

It is Jihad to liberate the Islamic lands from those who attack or conquer them. These are enemies of Islam. This Jihad is an absolute obligation and a sacred duty; firstly on the people of that land. If the Muslims of that land can't offer sufficientresistance, then Muslims of neighboring countries are obliged to assist. If this is still not sufficient then all the Muslims of the world must assist.
Palestine is the land of the first Qiblah of the Muslims, the land of Isra' and Mi`raj, the land of Al-Aqsa and the blessed territory. The conquerors are those with the greatest enmity to the believers, and they are supported by the strongest state on earth - the USA, and by the world Jewish community.
Jihad is obligatory against those who take land and expel the inhabitants, spill the blood, violate the honor, destroy thehouses, burn the fields, and corrupt the land. Jihad is the first obligation of all obligations, and the first duty of the Ummah. Muslims are commanded to do this, first those from the land in question, after that their neighbors, and finally all Muslims. We must all be united against the aggressors. We are united in Islam, including unity of belief in the Shari`ah, unity of belief in the Qiblah, and also united in pain and hope. As Allah Almighty says: "Verily this Ummah of yours is one Ummah." (Qur'an, 21:92). Allah Almighty also says: "Surely the believers are a single brotherhood." (Qur'an, 49:10). There is a Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that states: "The Muslim is the brother to the Muslim, he can't oppress him, he can't give him up, he can't let him down." [Transmitted by Muslim].
Now we see our brothers and children in Al-Aqsa and the blessed land of Palestine generously sacrificing their blood, giving their souls willingly in the way of Allah. All Muslims must help them with whatever power they have. (See the Noble Qur'an, 8:72).
If people ask in the name of religion we must help them. The vehicle of this support is a complete boycott of the enemies' goods. Each riyal, dirham ...etc. used to buy their goods eventually becomes bullets to be fired at the hearts of brothers and children in Palestine. For this reason, it is an obligation not to help them (the enemies of Islam) by buying their goods. To buy their goods is to support tyranny, oppression and aggression. Buying goods from them will strengthen them; our duty is to make them as weak as we can. Our obligation is to strengthen our resisting brothers in the Sacred Land as much as we can. If we cannot strengthen the brothers, we have a duty to make the enemy weak. If their weakness cannot be achieved except by boycott, we must boycott them.
American goods, exactly like "Israeli" goods, are forbidden. It is also forbidden to advertise these goods. America today is a second Israel. It totally supports the Zionist entity. The usurper could not do this without the support of America. "Israel's" unjustified destruction and vandalism of everything has been using American money, American weapons, and the American veto. America has done this for decades without suffering the consequences of any punishment or protests about their oppressive and prejudiced position from the Islamic world.
The time has come for the Islamic Ummah to say "NO" to America, "NO" to its companies, and "NO" to its goods, which swamp our markets. We are eating, drinking, wearing and riding whatever America produces.
`Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "You have three enemies; your enemy, the friend of your enemy, and the enemy of your friend". The USA today is more than friends to our enemy; they would destroy themselves for Israel. The world wide Muslim Ummah numbering 1.3 billion, could cause pain to the USA and its companies by boycotting them. This is an obligation of our religion, and the way of Allah. Every Muslim that buys "Israeli" or American goods, when there is an alternative from other countries is committing a haram act. They are clearly committing a major sin, which is a crime against Allah's law, which invokes punishment from Allah, and the contempt of the people.
Our brothers in "Israel" and America are forced to deal with them and buy their products. Allah does not ask you to do what you can't do; only what you can.
Allah says: "Fear Allah as much as you are able." (Qur'an, 64:16).
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If I order you to do something, do however much you can". Muslims in America must work with companies who are least hostile to Muslims, least allied to the Zionists. Boycott Zionist companies as much as you can

The Israeli government convinced many people that it "gave Gaza back to the Palestinians" a few months ago, but as the report below demonstrates, Israel still controls the people in Gaza, and now it is making them go without bread—literally. Gaza is not free; it is a huge prison controlled by Israel.
As long as there is a Jewish state in Palestine, Zionist leaders will subject non-Jews to racist policies like this. These policies are necessary because a Jewish state—in order to "secure" a Jewish majority population—needs to drive non-Jews out of the Jewish state part of Palestine and forcibly prevent them from returning to their country, all of which requires brutal measures to control Palestinians. The atrocities that Israel now commits in its occupation of the West Bank and control of Gazan borders are, as Israel says, security measures; the point is that they are designed to make secure that which should be abolished—a racist state (Israel itself, not just its occupation of the territories) based on oppression of and discrimination against non-Jews in ways that top South African trade unionist Willy Madisha, president of COSATU, said made South Africa's apartheid policies a "sunday picnic" in comparison.

Intifāda, dall'arabo: انتفاضة "intervento", "sussulto") è un termine arabo che vuol significare nella fattispecie "rivolta", "sollevazione".
Il termine è entrato nell'uso comune come nome con cui sono conosciute due recenti campagne dirette a porre fine all'occupazione militare israeliana in Palestina. L'Intifāda è uno degli aspetti più significativi degli anni recenti del conflitto israelo-palestinese.
La prima intifada palestinese risale al 1987, con una diminuzione delle violenze nel 1991 e un totale esaurimento del fenomeno a seguito della firma degli Accordi di Oslo (agosto 1993) e della creazione dell'Autorità Nazionale Palestinese.
L'Intifāda di al-Aqsa (nota anche come Seconda Intifada palestinese) indica invece il violento riesplodere del confronto israelo-palestinese allorché, il 28 settembre 2000, l'allora primo ministro israeliano Ariel Sharon e il suo entourage di 1.000 uomini armati, entrarono nel complesso della moschea di al-Aqsa, sulla Spianata Sacra ( al-haram al-sharīf ) di Gerusalemme.
Dopo sei anni dal suo avvio, la Seconda Intifada, al 28 settembre 2006, ha causato (secondo i più accreditati strumenti di comunicazione di massa) la cifra di 4312 morti arabi palestinesi e di 1084 morti israeliani.

Every overture of peace made by the Palestinians in recent times, has been met with Israeli silence or violence. Last week, Israel said it would not negotiate with the Palestinian unity government signed off by Fatah and Hamas leaders in the Saudi-brokered Mecca Agreement. A few days later, Israel began a series of aggressive incursions into the beleaguered city of Nablus, deep inside the occupied West Bank. Returning again barely 24 hours later, Israel continued the "Hot Winter" offensive by sending 100 tanks and heavily armoured vehicles thundering into Nablus - a blatant provocation that could well trigger a new spate of violence.
Israeli soldiers began forcing Palestinian families out of their homes at gunpoint whilst looking for the relatives of "Wanted Palestinians". Homes were vandalised and young men were blindfolded, handcuffed and arrested. There was no discriminating between the relatives: an old man with a heart condition and a 5-month pregnant woman were amongst those rounded up and kept under surveillance at a city school. Since the incursions began, some 150 Palestinian civilians have been detained. One man was killed and at least 30 people have been injured.
Large areas of this city of 50,000 people are now being held under military curfew, and once again, Palestinians are being confined to their homes for an indeterminate period. This, of course, has terrible implications for the sick and elderly who are not able to even seek medical assistance. Medics have had to find ways of reaching patients in crisis putting their own lives at risk, particularly since soldiers have taken up positions in peoples' homes and are using the rooftops as sniper towers. Soldiers have also stationed themselves in the corridors of Rafidiya Hospital and are checking IDs and the belongings of doctors, patients and staff. The old city of Nablus is progressively turning into rubble as soldiers and bulldozers arbitrarily destroy buildings that they decide are security risks.
There is nothing new in all this: Israel has been executing such military operations in Palestinian cities and towns for decades. However, Nablus has borne the brunt of nightly military invasions that never make the media: only some do. Last year, a three day invasion destroyed priceless records covering more than 100 years of Palestinian history from the Ottoman Empire to the present day. As well, thousands of personal identification records were destroyed in a move seen by many as a deliberate act to strip the Palestinians of their identity. And what better way to break the economic centre of the occupied West Bank than to cut Nablus off from every other city and town. It also gives Israel carte blanche to collectively punish the civilian population using whatever methods will further subjugate a people already suffering under its Machiavellian occupation.
On any level of human existence, humiliating and terrorising a city's population is bound to give rise to resistance. Israel's claims that such incursions prevent terrorist attacks have not been borne out. There will always be those prepared to fight off their oppressors and the more brutal the response from the military, the more intense the resistance will be. This has been well and truly demonstrated in the forty years of oppression the Palestinians have already endured. The only conclusion that one can draw from Israel's refusal to recognise the unity government, and Israel's dangerous provocations in an already volatile situation, is that Israel is not interested in peace with the Palestinians. This raises the question - how does Israel expect to have peace without them?
If it's not Nablus, it is Jenin or Gaza or any one of the other Palestinian cities and neighbourhoods regularly targeted by Israel's military that leads to the seeds of discontent being sown from one generation to the next. The damage Israel has wrought on Palestinian society is enormous. Peace cannot come by drawing up unilateral borders, but only through engaging, making real concessions and genuine efforts to see justice done. A "Hot Winter" offensive is just a military solution by yet another euphemistic name. In such a milieu, peace will most likely be held to ransom indefinitely.

Apartheid (meaning separateness in Afrikaans, cognate to English apart and hood) was a system of racial segregation in South Africa from 1948, and was dismantled in a series of negotiations from 1990 to 1993, culminating in democratic elections in 1994. Apartheid was designed to form a legal framework for continued economic and political dominance by people of European descent.
The rules of Apartheid meant that people were legally classified into a racial group — the main ones being Black, White, Coloured and Asian (consisting of Indians and Pakistanis) — and were separated from each other on the basis of the legal classification. The Black majority, in particular, legally became citizens of particular bantustans (homelands) that were nominally sovereign nations but operated more akin to United States Indian Reservations, Canadian First Nations reserves, or Australian aboriginal reserves. In reality, however, a majority of Black South Africans never resided in these "homelands."
In practice, this prevented non-white people — even if actually resident in white South Africa — from having a vote or influence, restricting their rights to faraway homelands that they may never have visited. Education, medical care, and other public services were segregated, and those available to black people were generally inferior.

The Land and the People
In the 19th century, following a trend that began earlier in Europe, people around the world began to identify themselves as nations and to demand national rights, foremost the right to self-rule in a state of their own (self-determination and sovereignty). Jews and Palestinians both began to develop a national consciousness, and mobilized to achieve national goals. Because Jews were spread across the world (in diaspora), their national movement, Zionism, entailed the identification of a place where Jews could come together through the process of immigration and settlement. Palestine seemed the logical and optimal place, since this was the site of Jewish origin. The Zionist movement began in 1882 with the first wave of European Jewish immigration to Palestine.
At that time, the land of Palestine was part of the Ottoman Empire. However, this area did not constitute a single political unit. The northern districts of Acre and Nablus were part of the province of Beirut. The district of Jerusalem was under the direct authority of the Ottoman capital of Istanbul because of the international significance of the cities of Jerusalem and Bethlehem as religious centers for Muslims, Christians and Jews. According to Ottoman records, in 1878 there were 462,465 subject inhabitants of the Jerusalem, Nablus and Acre districts: 403,795 Muslims (including Druze), 43,659 Christians and 15,011 Jews. In addition, there were perhaps 10,000 Jews with foreign citizenship (recent immigrants to the country), and several thousand Muslim Arab nomads (bedouin) who were not counted as Ottoman subjects. The great majority of the Arabs (Muslims and Christians) lived in several hundred rural villages. Jaffa and Nablus were the largest and economically most important Arab towns.

For the week's informative lectures and discussions, students viewed a thought-provoking documentary on the root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, "Operation 101: Voices of the Silenced Majority," in Crystal Cove Auditorium. While the film played, cries of horror resonated throughout the audience, not merely because of the grotesque images of distorted dead bodies or clips of innocent children crying for their lives, but the facts the film announced about the conflict.
Some students liked that about "Occupation 101," not a film intended to proselytize, but rather present an analysis of the history, causes, and widely held misconceptions of the Holy Land. Fifth-year anthropology major, Kevin Michael Smith said, "The documentary gave a concise history of the conflict and it is accessible to all people. People cannot argue against the facts and numbers of innocent Palestinian civilians being killed even if they wanted to, they just choose to ignore it."
Also, the documentary makes references to oppressions and conflicts outside of the Holy Land. Israeli Journalist Amira Hass states, "Any violence by a large population is not because these people [are] more violent than any other. It is an alarm, a sign, a signal that something is wrong in the treatment of this population," as illustrated by historical examples throughout the world.
In the film, Douglas Dicks of the Catholic Relief Services points out that the number one misconception that Westerns have about this conflict is that Arabs and Jews have been fighting for thousands of years. And, James Akins, a former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia explains that there is no congenital historical enmity between the Arabs and the Jews.
According to the film, when Jews were persecuted throughout Europe during World War II, they were welcomed to the Middle East. As a result of anti-Semitism in the 19th century, a small minority of European Zionist Jews proposed that the only place Jews would be safe was within a Jewish state, believing that Palestine was empty and open to settlement.
According the movie, Arabs and Jews lived peacefully for centuries, until the expansion of the Jewish State.First-year psychology and social behavior major, Saisma Hassanein wished that the film would "evoke any kind of emotion among students on campus." The wall, documentary, lectures and discussions tried to make students more aware of issues in the Middle East. Lastly, the documentary noted, "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance: it is the illusion of knowledge."

The ethnic cleansing of Palestine that began more than fifty years ago has turned the overwhelming majority of Palestinian people into refugees. There are about five million Palestinians who are presently denied the right to return to their homes. Most of them live in 58 camps scattered throughout the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Hundreds of thousands more are exiled in the Americas, Europe and Australia. That none of them can return except by the expressed permission of Israel is a flagrant violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) since "Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country."
After five decades of persecution and untold suffering, it has become increasingly clear that the right of the dispersed Palestinians to return to their homes can no longer be postponed or compromised. It was, therefore, as a direct response to the need of ending this nightmare of exile that the Palestinian Return Centre was founded.

The UN Resolution of 1947 allocated 45% of British Mandate Palestine to a Palestinian State. In 1948, Israel occupied 78% of the land, leaving just 22% -- the West Bank and Gaza -- to the Palestinians. This is all they have been demanding since 1993. Now, Israel is robbing more than the better half of these 22% left. Six million Israelis are to have about 90% of the land (and water), whereas three-and-a-half million Palestinians, many of them refugees, are pushed to starve into what is left, locked behind gigantic walls in open-air prisons, with no land, no water and no hope. The moral way to peace, love and security, no doubt.
The Apartheid Wall will be 8m high and probably 1.000km long. For comparison, China's Great Wall -- the only human-made object seen from outer space -- is 6.700km long, whereas the Berlin Wall was a dwarf, just 155km long and 3,6m high. Keeping silent on this gigantic project and its genocidal implications, meant to prevent any fair future settlement (not to mention the Road Map), is a moral crime, of which almost the entire Western media is guilty.
