i went to see phantom in london about two weeks ago and was amazed at the scenery more than anything else. afterall, it goes without saying that the music is outstanding.it was so exiting to go into the auditorium and see it all dimly lit and have the stage set up for the auction as apposed to simply having the curtin shut. then when the overture starts and the drapes are pulled back revealing that amazing arch with the angel high above, it gave me goosebumps. its amazing to think that it was all designed by one woman, maria bjornson. she was a talented lady and it is so sad that she has passed on. also, for all you opera lovers, you should check out her designs for the magic flute. they were awsome!!!
( with it being phantom i had to try and include mc, so look out for his little note saying that he would like to switch the side of the mask)
its set to a really nice version of all i ask of you,
