| Amtgard Battlegame: Harpies vs. Pegasus Riders - 308 sec
Just a fun day at the park. The ladies who played the Harpies were just vicious, and most of them don't usually fight. :D My thanks to Nettle (the Harpy Matron) & Crimson, who did a great job at organizing these lady fighters. What you see here two people, a rider holding onto the shoulder of a player playing a Pegasus. In able to ride the Pegasus, the other player needs to hang on at all times, or the rider falls to his death.
This battlegame was difficult because essentially the two had to work together against a group of Harpies that could fly as individuals. The Harpies were more manuverable, and faster than the two man Pegasus/Rider teams. And I let the Harpies respawn a bit quick to simulate a lot more of them. :D
A fun fun fun day.. glad I had my camera out that day.

Many knights dream of getting to ride on a actual horse in armor at least once, and thanks to Dove and her owner ThreeJugs this wish came true.
Dove is the true star of this video. Not just any horse can handle the weight of a full grown man in heavy armor, much less the noise of the armor and so forth. However Dove is not only capible, but was the successful partner to ThreeJugs when she would joust in the S.C.A. ThreeJugs said she might not be able to fight, but she can sure hang onto a horse, and as you can imagine, ThreeJugs & Dove were quite a devistating team because of that.
Dove is of the line of horses the Spanish Conquistadors rode, so ThreeJugs made sure to equip Dove with the spanish bit (which Dove hated), and saddle of the time period. It is only appropriate that we used Gordon Lightfoot's song, "Don Quixote" for this video.
Thanks to all in this video, and Sir McFadden's patience with us all, for helping make this awesome experience happen.
