This is the Korg ES-X and Roland JP-8080. I've sold my ES-X and I'm hoping to get another sampler someday. I'm looking at the Roland MC-808. Does anyone know how it compares against the ES-X in sampling? I love the way korg and Roland have the pads left to right and I like there sequencers. The E-MU Emulator X is a soundcard and software sampler. I hate it, but own it. I'd rather stick with hardware samplers. This has blue screened on me several times. I can get great sounds from it, but I guess my computer does'nt like it too well. Maybe the X2 is better, but I don't know. The many settings of this sampler/soundcard are almost too overwhelming in my opinion. What you think?
