Physical Use of Chi Energy, Demonstrated by John Chang, QiGong Master - 658 sec
The film is called "Ring of Fire: East of Krakatoa", and this is part of the 10-year voyage of two filmmakers, brothers Lorne and Lawrence Blair, through the world's largest and least known archipelago - the exotic, mysterious islands of Indonesia. These island form a chain of active volcanoes that arc down and around into the Pacific to form the "Ring of Fire." To pass beyond it is to cross the threshold into another dimension, a magical land where ancient myths still flourish.

Ludicrous Diversion [1-3] Secrets of the 7/7 Bombings in London - 616 sec
On the 7th of July 2005 London was hit by a series of explosions. You probably think you know what happened that day, but you probably don't. The police have, from the onset of their investigation, chosen to withold from the public almost every bit of evidence they claim to have about several aspects of the London Bombings. The mainstream news has spread false, unsubstantiated and unverifiable information, while choosing to completely ignore the numerous inconsistencies and discrepancies in the official story. The government has finally, after a year, presented us with their official narrative concerning the event. Within hours it was shown to contain numerous errors, a fact since admitted by the Home Secretary John Reid. They have continuously rejected calls for a full, independent public inquiry. Tony Blair himself described such an inquiry as a ludicrous diversion. What don't they want us to find out?

Richard Dawkins [1-5]The Ultraviolet Garden[R.I. Lecture #4] - 659 sec
"Growing Up in the Universe" The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, by Richard Dawkins 1: Waking Up in the Universe 2: Designed and Designoid Objects 3: Climbing Mount Improbable 4: The Ultraviolet Garden 5: The Genesis of Purpose Part 4. The Ultraviolet Garden "Flowers are to make the world pretty andto help the bees make honey for us..." So said a little girl after being asked what flowers were for. Christopher Hitchens, in the recently released book "God Is Not Great", said that he smelled a rat when his teacher, a well respected and regarded Christian, told him that nature was predominantly green because it's the colour most restful to human eyes. Hitchens was nine years old and had no knowledge of natural selection but he knew then that the eyes were adjusted to nature not the other way around. In this lecture Dawkins goes into how other animals have very different ways of seeing and sensing the world. Did you know a bee can't see the colour red or that if all the bees disappeared, thirty percent of our food plants would be wiped out? Talk about the interconnected-ness of all things (the philosophy of one Dirk Gently, created by the afore mentioned Hitch-Hiker's Guide writer, Douglas Adams). I mention him again because (a) he shall not be forgotten and (b) he guest stars in this lecture in a delightful cameo as he reads his 'Dish of the Day' extract from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, the ultimate example of the erroneous belief that nature is at our beck and call and we have mastery over it. In our dreams.

Richard Dawkins [1-6] Climbing Mount Probable [R.I. Lecture #3] - 660 sec
"Growing Up in the Universe" The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, by Richard Dawkins 1: Waking Up in the Universe 2: Designed and Designoid Objects 3: Climbing Mount Improbable 4: The Ultraviolet Garden 5: The Genesis of Purpose Though in a broad sense this covers the same ground as the also-excellent book "The Blind Watchmaker", this is less stridently argumentative in tone and consequently somewhat more accessible to the non-biologist. It also introduces a new metaphor for the process of evolution towards complexity, the titular Mount Improbable, which I find far superior to either the Blind Watchmaker (derived from and therefore permanently bound to old Creationist arguments) or the author's much-beloved computer programs. The museum of hypothetical shells is another great addition to the annals of thought-experiment. Another aspect of this is the way in which Mr. Dawkins' love for biology, both in the sense of the study of living things and in the sense of the living things themselves, shows in nearly every word. Where in The Blind Watchmaker he often seemed angry (albeit rightfully so), here he is equally often simply enraptured by the sheer beauty of evolution and the products thereof. It's easy to see that this guy is a true naturalist, and his enthusiasm is infectious.
