Tuesday 23rd September 2008 we proceeded to the Manchester Velodrome for what would possibly be the biggest of the local Hope 08 events to date. The speaker was J.John, a man famed for his gentle humour and non-confrontational approach of speaking.
This is what we were opposing, because of J.John's endorsement of the ecumenical Alpha Course, the Ecumenical group Soul Survivor and false Word of Faith/Prosperity teacher Joyce Meyer. We are also very concerned that J.John is a member of St Andrew's Church, Chorleywood, whose vicar is Mark Stibbe.
Rev. Stibbe has been an outspoken supporter of the false Lakeland Revival
