OMG HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN? Eight Belles from the Kentucky Derby on May 3 2008 was put down on the race track instantly. We don't know how she hurt herself yet but I was at my towns race arena when it happened. My dad and I were bidding on Big Brown and Eight Belles. We didn't know she was put down until we got home.
