Nobody moves like her !! Here she performs a breathtaking acoustic version of the poetic Adagio in Holland 2000. About Adagio: "Adagio" the classical piece was discovered and reconstructed by Remo Giazotto in 1945 from a fragment by composer Albinoni. But Giazotto never took credit for it. It has since been adapted in song by a few artists. For her 2000 English debut, Lara Fabian, with her producers Rick Allison and Dave Pickell, decided to adapt it in a pop ballad arrangement. They imagined new lyrics for this song; depicting a passionate and heart wrenching story of love that survives through the ages, and once more this old and magnificent piece of music was brought back to life. BIO: Italian-Belgian pop singer Lara Fabian has always been about the voice. As a child, she was classically trained, and by 18 she had flown to Quebec to pursue a career as a solo artist. There she released 3 successful albums, but soon the territory proved to be small for Lara's ambition and talent. In 1996 she launched her career in France with album Pure which sold 2million, and in 1999 her international career took off with her English debut and dance hit "I Will Love Again". Since then, Lara has released more albums and DVDs and collaborated with Josh Groban, David Foster and Walter Afanasieff. Rush to check out her albums, you'll never go back. |
